Part 2 and 3 of Recasting the Tale

By the end of friday's class I will want to see:

1)the full breakdown of the fairy tale into the most basic formula (Plot Outline)

2)The brainstorming of 25 different ways in which to recast the tale - using changes in setting, characters, and perhaps twists in the plotline - done in group

3)The set-up of your story page as /RecastTale and a proposal to what you intend to do with your recast - a summary of who the characters are, the setting, and a basic overview of what you intend to change.
+++We will also link the group page to your /RecastTale page, for easier reference. To do this, you must put in the link of the group page : GroupOne or GroupTwo (etc.) into the YourName/RecastTale page. We will work on this together in class.

Remember, this is only a proposal, it is not set in stone. Be creative but also selective in appropriate content.

The wiki is out there for all to see and you will need to keep in mind that your writing will be seen by outsiders.

Bring your book for reference.

For Monday, have a rough draft of your new fairy tale on your page and we will begin a workshop in editing.
